GNOME 3.11.4 Development Release

Hi everyone,

The new development release for GNOME 3.12 is available, providing
new feature and fixes to our libraries and applications. A detailed list of
planned features is available here[1].

To compile GNOME 3.11.4, you can use the jhbuild[2] modulesets
published by the release team[3] (which use the exact tarball
versions from the official release).

The release notes that describe the changes between 3.11.3 and 3.11.4
are available. Go read them to learn what's new in this release:

apps - http://download.gnome.org/apps/3.11/3.11.4/NEWS

Please note, due to missing tarball, GNOME 3.11.4 officially includes
a gtkmm release that fails to build against other modules included in
3.11.4. If you need features and/or applications related to gtkmm in
GNOME 3.11.4, please refer to gtkmm code currently available on
git master.

The GNOME 3.11.4 release itself is available here:

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!
--------------------------

This release is a snapshot of early development code. Although it is
buildable and usable, it is primarily intended for testing and hacking
purposes. GNOME uses odd minor version numbers to indicate development
status.

For more information about 3.11, the full schedule, the official module
lists and the proposed module lists, please see our colorful 3.11 page:

Happy coding.

Luca Ferretti,
in the behalf of GNOME Release Team
