There are certainly setups that can use a multi account system, and I'm
not saing we should not allow that. But in the very many situations it
isn't needed i don't understand why it has to be even visible.

Shy should we use the greeter to unlock the screen the first time, but
then if you e.g. timeout during a coffe break you'll unlock the second
time with a completely different UI?
