A subset approach makes a lot of sense. I also wonder, however, if just
doing directly to D-Bus for the above components might be less work than
developing/maintaining a mini-cspi.
For GOK, I also wonder if the work needed might enough to drive someone
to say "screw it....it's time to rewrite GOK in python" and address any
design/user issues along the way.
