Maybe not that easy...
The source RPM on Koji, dated 13-September, has no patches. I rebuilt
using the source code for gtk-vnc stored under mecurial source
control.
After rebuilding both gtk-vnc and vinagre, I see the borked color map
problem as before. I do not see this problem when connecting to the same
sites using VNC viewer.
Also... I managed to get the cursor trapped and could not escape the
vinagre window.
A work in progress.
