External dependency: gnutls version

Is there any reason that gnutls is stuck on version 1.4 here:

If so, I guess that should be mentioned in a comments column.

The latest version is 2.1.6 (though I don't know what's stable and
what's unstable):
http://www.gnu.org/software/gnutls/releases/

Ubuntu Gutsy has only gnutls 1.6.3, so there might be some issues. I
don't know if they install in parallel.
