I'm a volunteer on the Epiphany development team, but I'm speaking for
myself here. There has been a lot of talk about unifying Epiphany's
bookmark and history storage, eventually making web bookmarks and
history available desktop-wide. Implementation of this idea has been "on
hold" pending Tracker's eventual inclusion into GNOME. 

So, personally, I'd like to see the inclusion of Tracker into the
desktop, to bring us a small step closer to web browser nirvana. ;-)
