Please do not belittle our concerns. Perhaps it is not intentional but you
are coming across as quite dismissive and a little harsh.

Slab benefits greatly from the inclusion of Beagle.  It is important that
for this discussion the search feature be excluded and that we are all
evaluating the same thing since it will not be available by default,
although some (most?) distributions may choose to enable it.

Could that (or any of the other small enhancement requests) be done in
