Hi,
The problem before integration is that gnome-scan 0.5 is a rewrite. I do
not yet have a full featured version of Gnome Scan for Gnome :S.
Luckily, gnome scan has been accepted for Google SoC 2007, so i expect
great improvement on Gnome Scan.
Gnome Scan NG is based on alpha technologies such as Gegl, so it might
be very hard to inlude it in Gnome soon.
gnome-scan sounds like it may be a good candidate for the "sneak peek"
release module, that John just barely proposed, though.
Cheers,
Elijah
