The problem before integration is that gnome-scan 0.5 is a rewrite. I do
not yet have a full featured version of Gnome Scan for Gnome :S.
Luckily, gnome scan has been accepted for Google SoC 2007, so i expect
great improvement on Gnome Scan.

Gnome Scan NG is based on alpha technologies such as Gegl, so it might
be very hard to inlude it in Gnome soon. 

Also, note that Gnome Scan do not need to be part of Gnome to be
included in disto (see Foresight Linux 1.2, Ubuntu universe, …).
However, the day other app will use Gnome Scan to implement scan
feature, gnome scan should be in Gnome.

I'm a bit disappointed to report one more time gnome scan. Think that
gnome-scan might be too late for gnome inclusion, not for universe
inclusion ;).
