Voting is bad because most of the developers would actively ignore it,
and flame anyone who suggested they should pay attention to it. Thus
it's only going to get everyone (users and developers) thoroughly pissed
off.
If users want a feature and it's already in bugzilla, then the only
useful thing to do is help. The help can be in the form of homework and
analysis (see http://ometer.com/features.html) or in the form of writing
code/docs/whatever-the-feature-is.
Everyone wants some way to get their feature "faster" but I'm sorry, the
only such way is to help. Anything which is not help is distraction and
time sink, and makes features come *slower*
