I think the (entire) explanation above is exactly what I was asking be
put onto the Bindings page in my bug report at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=164652
That is far clearer and very specific about the definition of and
requirements of ABI stability in the Bindings release than what the
current Bindings rule page displays.
