I've also been looking at alternatives for this, and hacked up a real
simple libwnck based window list popup in the hope that would help a
discussion going.

The idea is to have a window list, that can be used with keyboard and
mouse, from which a window can be selected in an efficient way.  Also,
I'd like to bind shortcuts/accelerators to a specific window.

For it to really work, I need to know how I can override Metacity's
Alt-TAB popup with my own?
