Gnumeric is part of Gnome Office. Going to KDE would be much worse for
your existing Gnome 2.4 users than learning how to use spatial mode
efficiently or simply disabling it.

It happens sometimes cause this is a developers list and people here can
be quite passionate about things. On the whole most people here are
polite and helpful (as with the rest of the Linux community). I think
you deserve an apology.
