Re: Industrial as default theme?

Yes and no. Instead of making the background color a tad bit darker you left
it as is and you made the buttons even brighter. ;-)
You also introduce that green-blue color on your tab views which has nothing
to do with the rest of the theme, that color isn't on the same color range
as the rest of the colors used on the theme...

What I had in mind was something like this:
http://img.osnews.com/img/7241/themes2.png (colors still need work of course
to not be so grey and old-looking, this is a quick mockup)

If you could change your gtkrc to resemble something like in my mockup (1.
tab view left with current Ximian color, buttons are even brighter than
before, but general window background is a tad darker 2. Make the lines
around widgets a bit darker and 3. fix the window manager to not become one
with the window when unfocused) we are looking into a more usable theme than
Ximian offers with Industrial-stock and I would also strongly advocate that
something like this modified theme to become the default for Gnome 2.8. ;-)

Let's rock on. :-D

thanks,
Eugenia
