RE: galeon

My complain wasn't about the file-selector, was that galeon was found to
have big HIG lacks, when none of them was such big ___in my opinion___.
Imagine I am a base-user or zero-linux-knowledge user, I am using
galeon(and linux) in a cafe (actually the case) for the first time.
Surfing is nice, speed, the plugins works (though I don't know what they
are), I can even search in small boxes in a toolbar. I have a floppy
available at the pc, so I try to get some stuff to my home. Then, I
found I get a dialog I dont understand at all. I ask the admin (the real
me) and after so many explanations I still don't know how to download
the files to the floppy. Such a simple task will make me avoid trying
linux anymore.
Please, give me an educative document about how to explain in less than
four lessons the file-selector or else stop telling me that the
file-selector is not related with the galeon discussion, because the
users don't know a thing about components, main core apps, desktop
enviroments... They have trouble saving stuff using the web browser
installed in two boxes with a label on the display that says "You're
using linux, enjoy free software!" and after their experience they say I
won't use linux anymore.
And when I say galeon, I can say Abiword (available at the cafe), A
couple of messengers, Xchat, GGv and gftp, to name the most used ones.
