	I know I said on irc that I thought this was a good idea - just shows
my instinctive prejudice against in-proc applets :-)

	But, the point about the extra overhead is a good one. The clock is
about the smallest applet there is. If it was any bigger I'd definitely
say go for it but ...

	Also, as was pointed out ... the panel really shouldn't be handing
under any circumstances anyway ..
