Also, on Windoze, I have to change resolution when I want to output my
laptop's display to my TV (e.g. for playing games or watching DVDs), as
the picture will only fit the screen correctly if I switch the res down
to 800x600. I do this often enough that I've added a link to the Display
control panel to my desktop.
I guess people giving presentations from their laptops via fussier
projectors might find it a similar boon...
