A bit of history is in order here i think, but what i know is only
something gathered from someone outside the project, so it can be taken
with a grain of salt.

Anyway, most of the features who did got removed, or more exactly didn't
get reimplemented, did get removed by Marco before the epiphany split.
And one of the causes of the epiphany split were the huge flamewars of
last october because of this exact same issue. Since then, many of the
missing features have been added again, or at least reimplemented
differently. So, please don't come back with these same argument, and go
against the galeon developpers for these selfsam things they are often
trying to correct again.

Somebody (Jonathan Koren if i am not wrong) already volunteered to make
a list of all the missing features, and investigate what their status is
(visible conf, hidden conf, visible conf planed but not implemented,
hidden conf planned but not implemented, feature done differently, or
feature not planned to be reimplemented together maybe with the reason).
This is a visible and constructive effort to steer galeon in the right
direction, instead of these complaints that come back each week, and are
maybe unaware of the huge bettering of galeon 2 from today compared of
the galeon 2 from last october.

Friendly,

Sven Luther
