Does cheese only work with vp8enc?

Hi,

I have my own implementation of vp8enc.

I have prioritized it higher than the vp8enc which comes with Ubuntu on 14.04 but it doesn't get picked up.

I also noticed that if I remove the original vp8enc and rename mine as vp8enc, it does get picked up.

Does this mean that Cheese picks vp8 encoder directly by name?

Is there a plan to fix this? If not, I would like to volunteer to fix it.
