I have installed gstreamer-plugins-base & gstreamer-plugins-good

cvs -d:pserver:anoncvs anoncvs freedesktop org:/cvs/gstreamer co gst-plugins-base

are you shure, that you installed video4linux2? i think you will have to
enable it, when compiling gstreamer.
