Cannot add files in Brasero

When I start Brasero 2.30.0 and try to create a data DVD, I click on the
add files button or the add files menu choice and nothing happens.  I can
drag and drop files.

When I start Brasero from the command line, I get the following message:

(brasero:11854): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to
allocate widget with width -47 and height 29

The -47 width doesn't look right. Any idea how I can fix? Is there a
settings file somewhere that's wrong.
