Anyway, with totem the AVC file (h264 and MP3) works fine. The ASF file (MS
MP4 and MP3) fails with an error "Could not demultiplex stream".

Ok, I guess banshee then behaves in a similar way to totem for both files?

Please report a gstreamer bug in http://bugzilla.gnome.org (looking ifthere is already a report for it first).
