it didn't, it failed to show anything, but!

i found that editing properties, album, artist provided the control i
sought.

who is doing documentation for banshee? I never got any response to
my query for product documentation; is that because there is none
or its a conscious decision to see how far a documentation-free 
app can go? ;)
