Hi, can you please attempt to obtain a debug log and respond with it? Once you launch with the --debug option please try a few of the things you mentioned above so we can try to figure out what is happening.

I have a HTC android phone that I'm trying to sync with but when i click on
HTC Android Phone under Devices Banshee just lock up.  I'm able view/play
the music and videos on the device but just cant get to the sync option.

Once Banshee locks up and I click close i do get a quick glimpse of the Sync
screen just before it closes.

While typing this i realised that it is not only the sync option that is
causing banshee to crash but most of the options in the window on the left
of the screen (Podcasts, Radio, everything under online Media).

this is extremely frustrating!
