Your original crash looks like it happens in the Ubuntu One Music Store. It would be interesting to see if Banshee still crashes if you uninstall that extension or find some other way to disable it before starting Banshee. Not sure why your version number would report 2.2 even after updating to 2.3.1.
If you manage to disable the U1MS extension and Banshee still crashes, another debug log might be helpful (to make sure it's the same issue). Either way, this kind of crashing is a bug, and should probably be reported:

Update Manager to install the update. According to the update manager the
