I like confirmation if al below are necessary

According to the bugreport above hal should be enabled
Maybe that is also the reason that I don't see DBUS events
in /var/log/messages and .xsession-errors

My gvfs is linked with:
libcdio_cdda.so.0  
libcdio_cdda.so.0(CDIO_CDDA_0)  
Need to recheck

According to the report cdparanoia is needed

According to the report /dev/cdrom is needed
