System: LFS-like
Banshee-2.0.1
Gnome-3.0.1
According to http://banshee.fm/support/guide/audio-cds/
1. Insert a CD
2. Banshee automatically detects it and adds it to the side menu
But here never appears to the side menu
Also searched in the list-archive back to 2009:
Only one similar case in 2010 without response
./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static --disable-boo \
--disable-youtube --disable-mtp --disable-daap --disable-hal
Could it be because of the "--disable-hal"?
hald is not running either
I remember from Gnome-2 that a pop-up appears after inserting
an Audio CD asking whith what to open. That doesn't happen in
Gnome-3
gnome-mount is unintalled (needed in the past for Rhythmbox)
These are running:
/usr/libexec/gvfsd
/usr/libexec//gvfs-fuse-daemon /home/tjoen/.gvfs
/usrlibexec/gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor
/usr/libexec/gvfsd-metadata
/usr/libexec/gvfsd-computer --spawner :1.5 /org/gtk/gvfs/exec_spaw/0
/usr/libexec/gvfsd-trash --spawner :1.5 /org/gtk/gvfs/exec_spaw/1
/usr/libexec/gvfsd-burn --spawner :1.5 /org/gtk/gvfs/exec_spaw/2
gst-inspect says that I have:
cdaudio: cdaudio: CD player
cdio: cdiocddasrc: CD audio source (CDDA)
/etc/fstab:
/dev/scd0 /media/cdrom iso9660 user,noauto,ro 0 0
ls -l /dev/scd0 /dev/sr0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 Jul 2 15:51 /dev/scd0 -> sr0
brw-rw----+ 1 root cdrom 11, 0 Jul 2 15:51 /dev/sr0
/etc/group:
cdrom:x:24:guest,tjoen
Manual opening /media/cdrom results in:
Could not mount cdrom
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
/var/log/messages: (same as dmesg)

Jul 2 18:51:09 localhost kernel: isofs_fill_super:

Haven't tried Rhythmbox, needs recompile many dependencies.
What am I doing wrong/missing?
