Would it be better to place it in to the /tmp directory? Would it be 
difficult to include a thumbnail for cover art as well?

I left the above comment in bugzilla.  After that i had another thought. 
I assume this is for scripting purposes.  Can't we do all this with the 
dbus interface anyhow?  Can we also grab the currently playing song info 
across a network as well?
