This is not accurate.  --disable-ipod disables the legacy ipod-sharp
based iPod support.  --disable-appledevice would disable the new
libgpod-based iPod/iOS support.

gudev-sharp and gkeyfile-sharp are required by the GIO hardware
backend, the alternative to which is the HAL hardware backend.
