Hi there!
I'm using latest banshee (git-checkout) and I'm having problems using an
MTP device (mp3 player) with it. A quote from a "make run" (cut):
> [1 Info 11:13:31.542] nereid Client Started
> [1 Debug 11:13:31.545] Delayed Initializating Banshee.MediaEngine.PlayerEngineService
> [1 Debug 11:13:31.600] (libbanshee:player) Stream volume supported: YES
> [1 Debug 11:13:31.714] (libbanshee:player) Audiosink has volume: NO
> [1 Debug 11:13:31.767] (libbanshee:player) Using system (gst-plugins-good) equalizer element
> [1 Debug 11:13:31.887] Player state change: NotReady -> Ready
> [1 Debug 11:13:32.669] Loaded equalizer presets: 0.00017
> [1 Debug 11:13:32.681] Player state change: Ready -> Idle
> [1 Debug 11:13:32.684] (libbanshee:player) Enabled ReplayGain
> [1 Debug 11:13:32.722] (libbanshee:player) scaled volume: 1.00 (ReplayGain) * 0.00 (User) = 0.00
> [1 Debug 11:13:32.724] (libbanshee:player) scaled volume: 1.00 (ReplayGain) * 0.57 (User) = 0.57

can't be used any more; no cpu, no window draw, no reaction when device
is unplugged.
This is from dmesg:
> $ dmesg|tail -20
> ...
> usb 2-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
> usb 2-2: New USB device found, idVendor=0402, idProduct=0611
> usb 2-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=3, Product=1, SerialNumber=2
> usb 2-2: Product: PLAYER
> usb 2-2: Manufacturer: KEENHIGH
> usb 2-2: SerialNumber: 00403056900000001128
> scsi7 : usb-storage 2-2:1.0
> usb 2-2: USB disconnect, address 3
I compiled banshee with './autogen.sh --disable-youtube --disable-ipod
--disable-appledevice'.
Any advice?
Sebastian
