Congrats and thanks to
everyone who made this possible! If the goal is to give users an awesome first impression and experience, I would suggest that somebody finally do something about issue 612929. It has been around for a long long time, and makes Last.fm virtually useless. This is a shame since it was Banshee's Last.fm features that drew me in as a user in the first place. -Gregg On 11/1/2010 4:48 PM, Gabriel Burt wrote: Banshee people! We will be the default music app for Ubuntu 11.04! This will mean millions of new users. To give them an awesome first impression and ongoing experience, let's focus during 1.9.x on polishing our UI, UX, stability, and performance. We will undoubtedly add some new features, but "Polish! Fix!" should be our mantra. We continue our GNOME-aligned release schedule; Banshee 2.0 will arrive April 6, 2011! The full release calendar is here: http://banshee.fm/about/calendar/ We are committed to making Ubuntu's transition to Banshee successful.
