Thanks for your prompt reaction
I tried to find ubuntu in my applications but no success. Neither Totem Media player. I have SUSE Linux.
Could you explain how to get it?
I checked my applications. IN my volume control I cans see Sound system, Playback, Input devices, Output devices. There is a pulsing line fo all of them except for sound system but no sound. There is also the sign of mute volume. The muteness is not because of bad fix of the standard buttons.

Check If sound is working for other apps. ie. Totem Media Player,
Rythembox etc.
If no - Try working with some people on #ubuntu irc. (mabie a bit busy
since 10.04 release)
If yes (Working in Totem, But not Banshee) Then get back to us here with
more info.
