[Banshee-List] Banshee/ Bluetooth speaker sounds really bad- but works with string

Have been using Banshee very, very happily with Ubuntu laptop ever since
Jaunty ( thanks! )

Purchased a gorgeous bluetooth speaker, it tethers seamlessly with my Nokia
N95 phone via bluetooth and the quality is darn good

Speaker tethers with string to my laptop ( now loaded with Ubuntu Lucid )
and sounds even better with Banshee

But using bluetooth and Banshee to play music results in really poor sound
quality. Worse than my laptop speakers. Really awful.

I'm not an audiophile by any standard, but is there anything I can do to
improve the sound quality over Bluetooth/ Banshee link?
