If you want to know what Gabriel means by configurable browser, have a look
at what songbird offers today and you'll see the exactly what he means. I is
indeed a great feature and would be a nice feature in 1.6.

I would even go a step furher (nobody can keep me from dreaming) and have an
option on how much 'panes' (with 'pane' I mean you have two today : one for
Album and one for Track Artist) you have in the browser : 1, 2 our 3. In
that way you could have for example one pane with only albums in it to
browse you music collection. If you then would have the option to present
this as a 'collage' of all your albums ...

For those who fear : I did not say in my mail that songbird is better than
banshee (my personal opinion is exactly the other way around :-))
