May I have some words?
It's said that banshee is an extremely tiny essential core with may other plugins. I wonder if the video feature could be designed as a plugin too. If so, people could just turn it off if they hate it.

Forgive me if I'm wrong here.. but you have yet to state how this option interferes with your experience or is causing you any problems whatsoever. Expanding this project to include video did not require your vote. And the people who worked hard to put it there really don't need you coming along and telling them how it has destroyed your user experience without any evidence of that. If it were up to me (which its not as I am just a follower of this project and not a contributor) I would say if you want it gone so bad.. find it yourself and take it out.. but don't attack the developers of software you obviously use because they added a desired feature, just because you didn't want it.
