Unplug the music player and start Banshee. See what happens.

Hi there, thanks for your speedy reply (and the tip was really great =)...)
Any ways, when I type that in a get this terminal output:
[Kae localhost ~]$ banshee-1
[Info 18:14:11.389] Running Banshee 1.2.1
[Info 18:14:13.533] All services are started 1.902394s
[Info 18:14:14.433] nereid Client Started
PTP: Opening session
PTP_ERROR_IO: Trying again after re-initializing USB interface
usb_claim_interface(): No such device
LIBMTP PANIC: Could not open session on device 1
LIBMTP PANIC: configure_usb_devices() error code: 7 on line 1599
[Warn 18:14:30.732] Caught an exception - Connecting (in `Mtp')

at Mtp.MtpDevice.Detect () [0x00000]
at Banshee.Dap.Mtp.MtpSource.DeviceInitialize (IDevice device) [0x00000]
So does that mean it's my music player causing the error? It seems to be
hanging there, but hasn't given me any sort of... sign that it's finished.
