Thank you that page's information worked splendidly.  There is a further
issue.  No matter how I set the folder depth Banshee creates a system of
folders on my PSP to contain the music in.  The PSP does not handle such
systems well; it does not automatically move on if set to random repeating
play instead only playing one folder until it is changed manually, which is
annoying when walking around with the PSP in my pocket listening to music.  

Is there a way to make Banshee write the files directly rather than
organizing them into folders by artist (or any other qualification)?  To
clarify: when I look at the /media/PSP/Music folder in Ubuntu I only want to
see files with no subdirectories.
