That's probably because the Core schemas changed.
Try this: ./src/nuke-core-tables
:-) Well, that showed me that I didn't have sqlite3 installed, and then brought me to this error message.
"An unhandled exception was thrown: No player engines were found. Please ensure Banshee has been cleanly installed."
