That appears to be using git-svn, which synchronises a local git
(http://git.or.cz/) repository aginst the main SVN repository. This is
rather complicated, so if people are able to set up and use git-svn,
they /will/ know how to generate patches with it :-)
The "normal" way, since banshee's main repository is SVN, is certainly
"svn diff".
