[Banshee-List] Digital music workflow

How do you guys go about managing your digital music, end to end?  I'd
like to be able to accomplish the following:

1. acquire a non-FLAC file, a FLAC file, or a CD track
2. normalize the volume of the song
3. convert the file to FLAC if necessary
4. have the file properly organized and displayed with the rest of my
music, including a declaration of whether the file was originally a
non-FLAC file, FLAC file, or CD track
5. be able to play the file and see the cover art

I think the software I need for this is banshee, picard, and
gnormalize.  Has anyone come up with a good workflow for getting all
of this done in an efficient manner every time new music is acquired,
or is it necessary to have many, many clicks from beginning to end?
