I did try that, and honestly I can't remember how things went... I'll
try that again. (Core Banshee leaves much to be desired; those plugins
are great.)

Assuming Kevin and I are seeing the same thing, the UI stops
refreshing. I usually notice the time of the playing song has stopped
if the window is up; any other windows/tooltips over Banshee then make
that portion of the window go blank. If Banshee is trayed (which
happens often), I notice that the tooltip for the tray icon doesn't
show.

I do run Beryl now. I don't recall if I had the problem prior to Beryl.

Sometimes the window goes "white" to be more specific than blank and
sometimes it just freezes up and doesn't respond to clicks on it. If I
hit the X gnome asks me if I want to "Force Quit" immediately. I also
notice the tray icon disappear on occasion. It is rather difficult to
duplicate. I'll often go days without the problem, then it will show
up. Sometimes it will happen a few times in a day. It doesn't appear
to be related to frequency of use. Sometimes it happens when Banshee
is paused and not doing anything.
