Re: [Banshee-List] trouble checking out svn this morning

so, to test, i just ran  a scan to see if I can even reach that port, and, here what I came up with:

sjoeboo vader:~$ sudo nmap -sS -P0

Starting Nmap 4.20 ( ) at 2007-07-03 12:43 EDT
Interesting ports on ( ):
Not shown: 1695 filtered ports
80/tcp  open  http
443/tcp open  https

also, i was jsut looking at the mono-poroject website, and all refrences to use svn://. I jsut tried a svn list svn://, which timed out, although a svn list worked....

my firewall/router is fine, as the configs have not changed, and, i have no outbound blocking of any sort, so, unless my isp decided to do something like that (they do not have a history of port blocking). is there any way to change/force the protocol/port this checkout is happening with?

Can you ensure that your firewall/router/proxy? setup isn't going to
block this?  The svn:externals for this uses the svn:// protocol, which
runs on port 3690.  In some cases (like my box at work, which is behind
a nit picky proxy), I cannot use this protocol.

Hope this helps,
