Wow, you completely did not get my point. Of course we adapt. We already
have adapted. It took only a few days from that post. Our adaptation was
in Banshee 0.11.0, libipoddevice 0.5.0, and ipod-sharp 0.6.2. My point
is simply that it's unfortunate things have to be this way instead of, I
don't know, an open standard - wishful thinking.
Does "ipod --list" show anything?
