Re: [Banshee-List] Connecting Motorola SLVR - Banshee

Currently libipoddevice/ipod-sharp does not support the SLVR at all. I
began working on SLVR support in April but haven't had any time to
finish it. The SLVR does a few fundamentally different things than other
iPods, so it's not as straight forward as just adding a new entry to the
model table.

I'll evaluate continuing work in libipoddevice next week (shouldn't take
much more time to finish), but SLVR support will not be ported back to
released-versions of libipoddevice/ipod-sharp/Banshee (i.e. no native
support for it on SUSE 10.1). You'd have to get all components from
source from HEAD.
