[Banshee-List] Connecting Motorola SLVR - Banshee

Hi All,

I am trying to connect a motorola SLVR phone (itunes + mobile) to
banshee to manage the music on the phone. I am running Suse 10.1 (Linux
cipher 2.6.16.13-4-smp #1 SMP Wed May 3 04:53:23 UTC 2006 i686 i686 i386
GNU/Linux) and banshee 0.10.9.6338. The phone isn't recognized by
banshee (as an ipod or otherwise).

The phone mounts fine and looks like this:

I can see the following under hal-device-manager:

+ 82801CA/CAM USB (Hub #2)
	+ UHCI Host Controller
		+ USB Hub Interface
		+ USB Raw Device Access
	+ E398 Storage
		+ USB Mass Storage Interface
			+ SCSI Host Adaptor
				+ SCSI Device
					+ Motorola Phone
						+ Volume (vfat)
					+ SCSI Generic Interface
		+ USB Raw Device Access

Gnome Volume Manager sees the device fine, i.e it appears in Nautilus etc..

Honestly I don't know where to go from here, though I am reasonably
confident I can hack around if someone can give me a clue. When I get it
working I'll post a summary for others who might buy the phone.
Apologies if I missed it in the docs or archives.

Michael
