Re: [Banshee-List] 2 ideas

Peter,

You've prodded at a couple of topics that have been on my mind lately as well. I've added to the Feature Request under DAP devices that we support sending tracks during the transcode, so that the two operations run in parallel. This would probably require some work on the individual DAP plugins as well as the DAP core, so it's not something that can happen overnight ;)

As for cacheing, I think someone already filed a bug on that one (or maybe I was talking to someone on irc about it). It would be nice to be able to tell banshee to keep the cache under control. I don't know if it does this already, but I have about a gig of cache'd files in my music library that I'm OK with, but I'm sure others would want that cache cleaned up (or better yet, a gconf key to control what banshee does). I think this would be totally sweet!

Cheers,

Patrick

Sweet. Will definitely check that out. Thanks!

Any word on this one?

Have fun,
