Hi,
When I use Balsa spell checking I change the language to English (British) if I leave the composer it is

is there some way to make the language change predominant?
I am using Balsa 2.5.3 under Fedora 26, and the spell-checker is enchant/aspell.
Yes, I believe there is. I'll push a patch to git master, and if it survives testing it will be in the next
release.
Background: if I recall correctly, and it's quite possible that I don't, saving the chosen language was first
implemented when Balsa began using the GtkSpell in-line spell checker, and for technical reasons it didn't
work with the internal dialog-based checker. Later rationalization of the code eliminated the technical
issue, but save and restore was never extended to builds using the internal checker. I may be missing some
issues, but we'll test it in git and, as I mentioned, if it works it will be in the next release.
Thanks for the report!
Peter
