There was a new update of the autoconf cvs release in Debian an I still  
have the "missing icons" problem:
Some icons in the toolbars are missing

This happens only when built with this particular version of autoconf  
(2.59.cvs.2006.05.25) tree build with autoconf 2.59a is safe.

Maybe the fix employed has some side effects?
