Hi, I've updated my sid version f Debian and autoconf has been updated. With this version of autoconf, configure has a syntax error: checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes checking for BALSA... yes checking for BALSA_AB... yes/source/balsa/balsa-2.3.12+cvs20060514-1.2351/configure: line 22082: syntax error near unexpected token `}' /source/balsa/balsa-2.3.12+cvs20060514-1.2351/configure: line 22082: `echo "${ECHO_T}disabled" >&6; }'
Here are the offending lines in configure: cat >>confdefs.h <<\_ACEOF #define HAVE_GTKHTML 1 _ACEOF BALSA_CFLAGS="$BALSA_CFLAGS $HTML_CFLAGS" BALSA_LIBS="$BALSA_LIBS $HTML_LIBS" break fi done else { echo "$as_me:$LINENO: checking whether to use GtkHTML" >&5 echo $ECHO_N "checking whether to use GtkHTML... $ECHO_C" >&6; } -{ echo "$as_me:$LINENO: result: disabled" >&5 <<<------- echo "${ECHO_T}disabled" >&6; } fi # GPGME detection. # We don't use the std macro AM_PATH_GPGME here to avoid dependencies. It seems that there is an extra - at the beginning of the line: -{ echo "$as_me:$LINENO: result: disabled" >&5 Regards Jean-Luc
