- the meat of the patch adds an "attachment" button to the upper right corner of the top-level headers, of course only for multipart messages. Clicking it, a popup is shown with a list of all "real" (i.e. not multipart/something or message/something) parts for a quick navigation. Furthermore, I added part numbering, roughly like latex's [[sub]sub] section scheme (stolen^H^H^H^H^H^H inspired by Mozilla ;-)). Michael, do you think this improves the situation for users who don't want to see whe whole (and maybe confusing) story in the 2nd notebook tab?

Any comments?

Tried it and like it ;) (nice icon btw :)

Is it right that all multipart/alternative parts of one group are shown (e.g. the txt _and_ html version of the same part in a msg sent with outlook express?)

On the other side I got a mail from Netscape 7.1 (win xp) with

Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
boundary="------------090501000605040907060404"

I see the text with all 3 pictures marked in the source as

--------------090501000605040907060404
Content-Type: image/jpeg;
name="Ritterlicher Adler- und Falkenhof 016.jpg"
Content-Disposition: inline;
filename="Ritterlicher Adler- und Falkenhof 016.jpg"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

But the clippy in the corner is not shown.
